FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

HOW DO I ORDER PRODUCTS ON YOUR WEBSITE?

Click on the item that you want on our site.  Type in your desired quantity and then choose "add to cart."  If you are finished shopping, click "checkout" and choose one of our three payment methods located on the right side of the shopping cart screen.   Follow the prompts until you have successfully purchased your item(s).  You should receive a confirmation email with your detailed receipt and form of payment.

 

CAN I ORDER OVER THE PHONE?

 

Yes!  Identify the items you'd like to order and call us at 1-888-495-1020.  We are open 10:00AM-8:00PM CST Monday-Saturday and 11:00AM-6:00PM CST on Sundays.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO RECEIVE MY ORDER?

 

Orders are typically shipped within 72 hours of receipt of all information and cleared. Depending on where you are located, orders customarily arrive within 5-7 business days thereafter. *Special Orders (most chandeliers and some wall plates) will customarily arrive within 8-15 business days but can take up to 8 weeks or more depending on the order.

Should you require express shipping, simply contact us via email or telephone and we will work closely with you to meet your needs.

WHAT IF YOU DON'T HAVE THE ITEM I WANT?

In the unlikely event your item is out of stock, you will be contacted with an estimated backorder date, or you may select another item.  If we don't have an item which meets your unique needs, we will gladly issue a complete refund.

WHY DOES THE ITEM I ORDERED VARY FROM THE PHOTO ONLINE?

We do our best to take accurate photos of all of our merchandise.  The type and quality of light in our store may vary from the lighting conditions in your home.   Surrounding colors (carpeting, wallpaper, paint, etc.) can also impact how glass will look in your home.  Additionally, computers often have different color and brightness settings. The size and type of your computer screen might distort the size of photo and fonts as well.  If you have any doubts or concerns, please email or call us and we can happily send you more pictures of our products.  No glass piece in our gallery is exactly the same and slight variances may occur.

FORMS OF WHAT PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT? 

Northwood Glass Art & Gifts accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and your debit card or checking account.  We also accept payment via Paypal and Google Checkout, available by clicking on the appropriate icons before checkout.

HOW SECURE IS MY PURCHASE INFORMATION?

Northwood Glass Art & Gifts understands your concerns regarding Internet security. Northwood Glass Art & Gifts uses up-to-date secure software that encrypts all of your personal information (including credit card number, name, and address) so that it cannot be read as the information travels over the Internet. Our website is as secure as using your credit card in a store or over the phone.  However, in the event of any unauthorized use of your credit card, most banks either cover all charges that result from the unauthorized use, or may limit your liability to just $50.00.

CAN YOU MAKE CUSTOM DESIGNS?

Although we do not provide custom designs on most products (chandeliers can be completely customized!), we encourage our customers to make suggestions and individual requests, as we regularly are able to locate specific pieces during our buying trips abroad.

ARE YOU A CHAIN OR HAVE MORE LOCATIONS?

Northwood Glass Art & Gifts operates entirely from one location in West Palm Beach, Florida. We are considering new permanent locations throughout Florida.

WHO DESIGNS THE PIECES? 

Our glass is made using timeless techniques from numerous artists and guilds all across the world. Northwood Glass Art & Gifts currently has glass from the United States, Italy, Spain, Poland, the Czech Republic, the United Kingdom, Azerbaijan, Lithuania, Mexico, Canada, Brazil, France, Turkey, Asia, & Russia. These artisans combine traditional blown, folded, molded and cut glass techniques with their own eclectic decorative styles and themes.  We are constantly on the look-out for glass artists who emphasize quality and elegance.

 

DO YOU SHARE OR SELL MY PERSONAL INFORMATION? 

 

Never! Northwood Glass Art & Gifts will not share, sell, or use your personal information with anyone.
